Sport has drama, spectacle, personality and emotion in a way few other worlds can match. After more than a decade writing, designing and directing for Sky Sports, I've worked across a huge range of sports, campaigns and talent, in locations around the world. Sometimes the brief calls for pace, scale and the sheer spectacle of competition; other times, it's about getting closer to the people behind the performance. I enjoy both, and the challenge of finding the visual style, energy and human story that make each film its own.
